The morat'torm are the riders of the torm.

Currently, the Morat'torm are one of the 3 seanchan clans, and are open for new recruits at all time. Riding a torm is no easy task, therefore we test you in the areas of intelligence, bravery and tactics. Many sorts of morat's ride the torm, such as absers, dodgers and comboers. We even have a few rogues amid our ranks, who all try to reclaim our rightfull lands.

Anyone can try to become a rider of the torm, but it's no easy quest to become one. If you wish to join our ranks, you can send a mail (using wotmud.org forummail) to the clan morat'torm. and tell us why you wish to join our ranks.

We shall contact you back, and give you the first quest, to determine whether we find you good enough to ride one of the magnificent torm.

We have no real requirements set, but I advise you to be strong enough, and have a good idea of the lay of the lands both in Seandar as well as the lands of the oathbreakers.

Again, if you wish to become a rider of the torm, please send a message to the morat'torm headquarters.

"Grandpa, could you please tell me again about your time as a Morat'raken?"

"Of course my son, it has been a while since I was riding my magnificent companion Aquira. Nothing beats the feeling of flying through the air, with the wind in your face and looking down to see the landmarks of our glorious city. But that was not really our task; we were the elite scouts of the Empire. And that took me to hostile territories more often than not; skimming through the air to check out the enemy’s numbers and special units, we avoided many an ambush."

He pauses for a second to take a sip from his wooden mug and clears his throat, before continuing.

"But there were also very harsh times, while raken are great companions they are vulnerable sometimes. I can still remember my last flight as a Morat'raken, I was leading a patrol to scout the Two Rivers area. To make sure our advancing troops wouldn't run into a trap, and all of a sudden..."

He wipes a tear from his eyes, before saying with a hesitating voice.

"It didn't take more then a minute. Five marath'damane started throwing balls of fire at me and my raken, and....they killed her and brought me down, hitting me unconscious. And there I was mortally wounded and left to die. But somehow a secret sworn managed to get me to his house and helped me regain consciousness and heal my wounds. Life as a Morat'raken can be hard at times, but I am still proud to be part of them, and I love hearing stories about the current Morat'raken as they fly out endangering their lives. I have an especially soft spot for Honored Morat'raken Karif Bin Mahir, because I trained him myself, and maybe one day he will train you son."

The Morat'raken are one of the three implemented Seanchan clans in the game at the moment. It is possibly the hardest clan to join for a number of reasons. We are not open for recruiting very often and when we are we will let you all know. We want to make sure applicants will be able to stay alive in hostile territory and that they can keep their raken alive. To make sure of this a hard quest will need to be completed to even be considered to be a recruit.

The White Leopards is the nickname given to 1st Imperial Seandar Heavy Cavalry Regiment.

We accept only those who are completely honest in all their dealings, have supreme loyalty to the Empress, may she live forever, show due and proper respect to all, and who are fearless and ferocious in the heat of battle. Liars, cheats, traitors and cowards need not apply. As a heavy cavalry regiment we accept only those who wear full body armour and ride horses into battle.

MISSION STATEMENT:

By recruiting & training all willing Seanchan to become the strongest & toughest warriors in the Empire, we will become the Empire's most ferocious & powerful offensive fighting unit.

THE WHITE LEOPARD ETHOS:

To Have Fun when you MUD as your WL character. The main reason we're all abs'ers is because no WL should give a shit about equipment. They should all PK like it was their last day alive. When you die your clanmates will gather around you to re-equip you and send you back into the fray because they know that you will do exactly the same for them.

To Be Respectful to other players. We have a great reputation amongst the other Seanchan for being honourable and fair. Especially when it comes to dividing up equipment after smobbing or PK. By putting others first you will never lose.

To Be Inclusive. It's easy to clan but hard to rank. For a lot of WL's this is their first clanning experience and I intend to make it the best they'll ever have. The doormat outside our barracks front door should always read WELCOME and our door should never be closed.

To Be A Place To Learn. Many join the WL's to learn how to PK. Others are already proven veteran PKers and wish to teach and also learn from other veteran PKers. Afterall, who knows everything there is to know about PK? Also, some folks who join may be veteran RPers and weak PKers, and they may teach the veteran PKers to RP better. A healthy mix of experience and youth across all aspects of this MUD will make us a complete clan.

The Seanchan Imperial Guard is devoted to helping reclaim the ancient lands of Hawkwing by training and equiping the young soldiers of the Empress, may she live forever. We strive to help young conscripts gain the necessary experience and status to join the Hailene and begin the process of bringing the violence-torn, shadowspawn-infested lands that the Oathbreakers squander under the control of the Imperial Army. This will restore peace and order to our ancient homelands. The great Hawkwing and Hammer would want this.

To accompish these goals, the Home Guard is generally to be found in and around the grand city of Seandar. When not found in the sparring pit teaching classes to inexperienced conscripts, we can be found helping the youngest recruits learn to wield their weapons without causing injury to anything except their chosen target. We can also be found removing the continent of the last vestiges of shadowspawn and traitors to the Throne. It is in this last duty of the Home Guard that equipment can be gained, cleansed of its filth, and consequently distributed to those in need, whether they be young or old, ill-trained to the most battle-hardened.

If you find that you think you could best serve the Empress, may her reign be neverending, by joining the ranks of the Seanchan Imperial Guard, contact a current member to get more information. Our goal is simple, serve the Empress, may her hand guide and shelter us all forever, by serving those dedicated to her.
