If someone would like to rework this guide I would be very appreciative. The old one would not work with this new
layout. All I need is a formatted text document and I'll add in the code for the web. Either private message me on
the forums here, or mail it to callende.taru AT gmail DOT com.
Some of the easiest methods are:
- Washing dishes in the Kitchen of the Gilded Squirrel
- Selling fish to the Fishmonger
- Turning in the scalps of mink, lynx, lobster, or herons to Danyl the da'covale Master Trainer
To wash dishes, go 3w s d from Seandar Central Square (henceforth refered to as SCS) and enter the command
examine sink and if there are dishes in the sink, then enter the command wash the dishes until you see the
cook take the dishes and place them in the cupboard. Now, I have done this a few times and he may only have a limited
amount of cash. If he has cash, he will hand you a purse containing two gold crowns. Not bad for just a few moments
work.
To fish, purchase a net from the store located 4e 5s w from SCS. It will only cost you a little over a crown.
(You could try washing dishes to get the initial investment!) Once you have a net, take a trip to the room located
1w 1n from the bridge in the zone outside the northern gate (exact spams are 11n 3w n from SCS) and grab yourself a canoe.
Then go 1e and drop the net in the water. Wait for a few minutes (While you're waiting to catch the fish, try method
three to really rake in the cash!) until when you type examine net you see some fish in it. Then get the net
and proceed back to the city. All you have to do now is locate the fishmonger, get all.fish net, give all.fish
fishmonger and he'll give you ten copper per fish!
The third method is just as easy as the first too. While you are exping, all you have to do is kill some mobs and
scalp them. If you are really low level, stick with the herons (only the ones standing on one leg are hittable)
as they are the easiest. Once you are around level ten, then you can take on any of the aforementioned mobs, those
being mink, lynx, lobster, and herons. The mink and herons can be found in the west zone which is great since that is one
of the best areas for lowbies to exp. The lynx are in the mountains as you might expect. The lobster are in the swamp
and in the east zone. I highly recommend avoiding the swamp unless you have a highbie with you as it is very easy to
RIP in the swamp. Also, the lobsters in the east zone load four to a room, so unless you have really good defense
or good absortion armor, you might want to get someone to help you hit them.
Once you have your scalps, go visit Danyl who is located 4e 4s 2w from SCS and give all.scalp danyl to be presented
with seven copper per scalp. Just using the four rooms with lobsters in the east zone (remember there are four per room)
that will net you 112 copper or just over 5 crowns!
For highbies, it's a little more work to get some coin. The main methods are:
- Smob
- Kill the Traitors
- Kill the Smugglers (note: There are now two sets)
- Kill Trollocs and Hillmen and sell the equipment in Seandar or Falme (note:They also load a few copper as well)
I'm not going to go into intimate detail as I did for making money as a lowbie. I'll give you the spams and some basic
information. If you need more, contact Callende in game and I'll show you the ropes.
The traitors are located 4s 1w 1n 7w, dism and open claydoor, s and w from Gates of the S'redit (west gate). There
are generally 6 or 8 of them. They don't aggro you unless you have already hit them and fled. They do remember you
so watch out! The will also assist each other. The load one crown in inventory and one in a purse. The also load a
lantern each and a decent statting weapon that a kind soul would loot and place in the charity chest.
The smugglers in east zone are located 2n 2e 7n 1e 6n 1w 1n 3w 1n, dism and 1n from Gate of the Crashing Waves
(east gate). There are generally about four or five smugglers with the smuggler chief. They are aggro and do
assist. Each smuggler loads one crown in a purse with the chief loading three crowns in a purse.
The spams to the mountain zone smugglers are 1w 6n 2w 4n 1w 1n 2e 5n 1e 3n 1e 1n 1w from Oceans of Grass Gate
(north gate). The doorname is rockface. The chief loads a mattock and the money load is different, but otherwise
they are mostly the same.
The Hillmen are located in the east zone near the smugglers. The spams are 2n 2e 7n 1e 6n 1w 2n 1e then 1u and 1u 1n
from Gate of the Crashing Waves. To get to the lighthouse Fade/Trolloc patrol, the spams are 2n 2e 6n 1e 3u 1n 1e then
dismount, open door, 1n and get busy.
The only other method available on the Seanchan Continent is via Smobbing.
